Today I was supposed to run my first 5k. I signed up a couple weeks ago and paid the money (only $5).
Well this morning Ariel woke up at 5:30 and wanted to play. I thought she would play for a little bit and go back to sleep. She played until 8:00. So instead of staying up and heading out to run, I just went back to sleep with her.
I'm not too bummed though because I didn't really get to practice much. I could for sure do one mile, but I'm not sure about the other 2.1 miles.
The plus side of not going is that I am not sweaty and I don't have to wash my hair today. And I am still in my pajamas! Maybe another time I can try.
