Date Night

James took Annabelle on a date to Applebee's
and then to see the ice sculputres downtown.
Annabelle got all dressed up, put on stick on
earrings, and filled her purse.

Ariel thought she was going too.  She put on her favorite outfit, got her shoes,
and had her backpack ready to go.  She got to stay home with mommy and have fun.

Daddy and his date
Isn't my husband awesome that he takes time to take Annabelle on a date?
He is creating some special memories for her.

Hibernating

The first week of January Annabelle and I learned about hibernation.  At the end of the week we made a poster.

Who needs more glitter?

Annabelle's explanation of hibernation:
Hibernating is about sleeping all winter long.  They sleep
in something that is nice and warm.  When
it is warm, they get up.

Annabelle didn't want to take a picture with the poster
so Ariel did for her.

Ollie Cooks

I'm a little late on this new year's post.
Our family has a tradition of having the dutch treat - Ollie Cooks.
My grandma always made them and the whole family would go to her house.
It is a little harder to get everyone together now, but we try and do it every year.

Princess Girls

Annabelle is really into Ballerinas, ballet,
and dancing. We found these cute ballerina
girl shirts and the girls have been wearing them
as often as possible.
Isn't is sweet how much they love each other!

I LOOOOOVE this one!!

A Favorite Pasttime

One of Annabelle and Ariel's favorite things to do is to st on the heater registers.  They will sit there with a snack, toys, books, or nothing at all.

Eating Cinnamon Sugar Toast and watching a show.

New Years Resolution

I'm not usually one to make a resolution because I usually end up forgetting what the resolution was.  This year I decided I might give it a try.

My resolution this year is to use more glitter.  I know its kind of lame, but I might actually remember it and do it.

We already did a couple glitter projects this year and I love them.

I'm pretty sure I can do a glitter project for every season, holiday, special occasion, and craft with Annabelle.

Here are some that I might try this year.
